Rochaka Aata is a Kannada language TV show that airs on the channel Saral Jeevan. It launched on 19 July 2019. The programme airs on television every Saturday and Sunday at 8:30 pm for half an hour till 9 pm. It is re-telecasted on the next day at 3:15 pm. Rochaka Aata means ‘exciting game’. The show features different sports from around the world that are not normally known to the public widely. Most of the outdoor sports, if not all, are contact sports. They witness a lot of fights and bloodshed.
Some of the sports, some that we don’t even know exist, crave for the fight more than the others. Rochaka Aata features some appalling moments from sports, the moments that make the audience either gasp in horror or shriek with excitement. It introduces the traditional games endemic to a variety of places around the world along with the blood that comes with it. For example, when a ball hits a player in the face, the swift and sudden movements in a sword fight, players falling off horses in the different kinds of horse-related sports, etc.
