Apart from cricket, none of the other sports in India get the much-deserved attention and adulation. Kabaddi is a sport that originated in our very own country and so, with the intention to make it famous, Pro Kabaddi league was established. Some of India's wealthy businessmen and actors brought able kabaddi players from the domestic and national circuit, formed a team, and took part in the tournament. Pro Kabaddi League is partly inspired from the very successful cricket tournament, 'Indian Premier League'. The season one of this league went on to become a huge success and so the makers came up with season two.
Season two was premiered on TV in the year 2015 on the 18th of July. It was broadcasted in both Hindi and English, along with a few regional languages; Kannada, Telugu and Tamil. Defending champions, U Mumba, and Pink Panthers played the first match of the season two. It began at eight in the evening at Sardar Vallabhhai Patel Indoor Stadium, Mumbai.

A total of 60 games were played amongst the eight participating teams in the second season. Each of the eight teams were named according to eight different cities of the country. Semi-finalist of season 2 were U Mumba, Patna Pirates, Telugu Titans, and Bengaluru Bulls. All the teams played their semi-finals on August 21. The first semi-final was between Telegu Titans and Bengaluru Bulls. It began at eight in the evening and was a very thrilling and nail-biting match. Finally, Bengaluru Bulls defeated Telugu Titans and sealed their place in the finals by just one point.
The next semi-finals began at nine; Patna Pirates lost to U Mumba by a huge margin. Sardar Vallabhbhai Indoor Stadium was the stadium which conducted the semifinals as well as the final. The final was played on August 23. Before the last contest though, at eight in the evening, Telugu Titans and Patna Pirates played a match for the third position. Telugu Titans won the fixture. Finally, at nine, the last bout started. It too was thrilling, and U Mumba won the contest and the trophy of the Pro Kabaddi League, defeating Bengaluru Bulls by 36-30. All the players of U Mumba celebrated their victory and posed with the trophy.
