Sharada was born into a wealthy family, but she was separated from her family soon after her birth. She grows up in a humble family, and Jyothika grows up in her place. Sharada gets married and has a daughter, Deepu. Her husband ran away, and she had to clear the loans he had gotten from people in and around their place. Sharada’s mother-in-law curses her, as she is the reason for her son’s disappearance. Soon, Sharada leaves her town to search for her husband. She is shocked to see him married to another woman. He sends Sharada out, abandoning her and her daughter permanently. Sharada and Deepu go to a temple, where she meets Sumitra, her birth mother. While seeing Sharada, Sumitra finds some unknown feelings growing inside. Unknowing that she is her mother, Sharada saves her from goons, who tried to kidnap her. Soon, she tries to move away, but her parents are in no mood to leave her. They ask her the reason for her Bangalore visit, to which Sharada replies that she came there in search of a job. Soon, they take her to their home and give her a place to reside, and a job to do at their home. Deepu, too, started developing a good bond with her maternal grandmother. Meanwhile, Jyothika is in love with her cousin, Siddharth. But Siddharth doesn’t want to marry her. What will be his decision? Will Sharada identify her birth mother?
