The series follows the story of an ex-IIW agent fighting his demons. Its characters interact in Hindi, Urdu, English, and Pashto. Taliban captures four Indian Intelligence officers in Quetta, Baluchistan. The director of the Indian secret service, Sadiq Sheikh, summons Kabir Anand (Emraan Hashmi) for the rescue mission. Kabir Anand, alias Adonis, is an ex-Indian Intelligence Wing Agent who got himself retired after an operation killed his partner. He now takes care of the wife and son of the deceased partner and teaches literature. Reluctant to accept the job, Kabir refuses at first. However, after some contemplation, he finally decides to take on the mission and goes to meet Sadiq. Sadiq was already dead when Kabir reached his house. Since he was the only one present near Sadiq, he was suspected of his murder and arrested. Intelligence head, Arun Joshi, interrogates Kabir and lets him go after some time. 

During the cremation of Sadiq, Kabir notices a person clicking pictures. He chases after him and meets with an analyst named Isha Khanna (Sobhita Dhulipala) instead. Sadiq had left a coded message before his death, and Kabir managed to decode it. He realizes that the mission in Baluchistan will be unauthorized and require three agents. These three agents will be him, Isha, and Veer Singh (Vineet Kumar Singh). Veer, working as an undercover agent for a long time, desperately wants to return home. The trio teams up and faces many challenges on the way and after reaching Quetta. However, Joshi learns about this unsanctioned mission and starts tracking them. This edge-of-seat thriller makes the viewers anticipate the fate of Kabir, Isha, and Veer.
