A Hindi television serial aired on star plus in the year 2004, Sanjeevani- A medical boon is a show based on medical interns. The show was followed by, Dil Mill Gaye which was also aired on Star Plus in the year 2007. Revolving around the story for four medical interns Juhi, Rahul, Simran and Omi the screenplay shows the ups and downs of youth in the building of their career. These interns go through difficulties and often end up in an impossibly difficult situation. These interns bring in Energy, passion, and a new culture of ethics and values in Sanjeevani Hospital.
The four were seen battling with diseases and lives of their patients and trying to save their patients. Their patients often regard them as walking miracles, but these people are mere Human beings who have their families and have their emotions. Also, these people were seen under constant pressure to perform the Best as their Hospital’s reputation is at stake. Sanjeevani also a medicinal plant, known to cure anything and everything sets up a standard for the doctors in Sanjeevani hospital that makes them work hard.
The interns come to know about the amount of dedication and self-sacrifice a doctor needs in his life. Also, during their training period, the would-be doctors are made culprits and were given a bad name as a part of a conspiracy against them. But these people overcome all the difficult situations and rise high in their profession. The show salutes our life savers and pays an honorable tribute to all the doctors worldwide.
