Nikita fell in love with Chennai. While pursuing dentistry, her friends advised her to look for opportunities and competitions in the music industry. She soon decided to join KM Music Conservatory (KMMC), to do a short course. KMMC is established by the Oscar winner A.R. Rahman in 2008. He is the head principal their while Fathima Rafiq is the Executive Director. She met Rahman when she was one of the choir members in an Indo-German exchange orchestra. A.R. Rahman was impressed by her and auditioned her for his upcoming project Qyuki in 2015 with Shekhar Kapur.

Monali Thakur is a Kolkata-born playback singer and actress. Born in a musical family, Monali's father is a renowned Bengali Playback singer and her sister, Mehuli Thakur, is also a Playback singer. Monali's singing talent was initially recognized when she'd won the Best Playback Singer award at the 'Amandalok Awards', for the serial 'Sri Rama Krishna' at the age of 14. She'd been trained under Padma Shri Pandit Jagdish Prasad and Padma Shri Pandit Ajoy Chakraborty for Hindustani music. Monali's singing career started when she auditioned for Indian Idol 2 (the Indian version of Pop Idol) in 2005. Monali had been well acclaimed for her singing by the judging panel that included Anu Malik, Sonu Nigam, and Farah Khan.

Nakash Aziz, is an Indian playback singer and music composer in Bollywood industry. He was born on 24 February, 1985. Basically Nakash Aziz comes from a petit town Moodbidri, near Mangalore, Karnataka. He is well known for his hit songs like “Sari Ke Fall Sa” and “Gandi Baat”, both songs came from the movie ‘R… Rajkumar’ (2013) and another song ‘Dhating Nach’ from a film ‘Phata Poster Nikla Hero’ (2013). All these songs are picturised on ‘Shahid Kapoor’. Nakash has also assisted a very famous and “The Living Legend Composer and singer” Mr. A. R. Rehman on Hindi films such as ‘Delhi 6’,’I’, ‘Rockstar’, ‘Raanjhanaa’ and ‘Highway’. Before becoming a playback singer he worked as music composer for TV serials. He also composed for Marathi films like ‘Raada Rox’ and ‘No Entry Pudhe Dhoka Aahe’. Nakash comes from a musical family, and his taste was influenced by his father and uncle. They were famous for voice-alike of very famous singers ‘Kishor Kumar’ and ‘Mukesh’ in hometown Mangalore. During his initial days in Mumbai, Aziz got a small-time job in a reality show where A.R. Rehman was one of the judges. And now in 2015 he is performing in ‘IIFA awards’ with a new singer in the block, ‘Sonakshi Sinha’ and ‘Mika Singh’. Aziz says, “I want to be anything that music allows me to be, even if it comes up with a small musical idea like introducing a slight variation in my singing for Amit Trivedi’s Aisha title song”.

One of the most recognized young director of Indian cinema. In fact, he is the most versatile person in the industry as of now. He is Farhan Akhtar, a film director, actor, singer, writer, producer, screenwriter everything you name it, he has it. Son of the famous writer Javed Akhtar & actress Honey Irani was born on 09 Jan, 1974 in Mumbai.
As he was growing, he found the film industry around him. At home, the atmosphere of arts, literature influenced him to become creative man. He did his schooling from Maneckji Cooper & Graduated from HR College, Mumbai. After then, he started his career in films, first as assistant director & then director. His first directorial debut was Dil Chahta Hai in 2001 which received critical acclaim as well as commercial success. After then he did not see back & made other movies like Lakshya in 2004, Don in 2006, Rock On in 2008. He got two national awards, one for Dil Chahta Hai & another for Rock On for direction & production subsequently.
He portrayed the character Milkha Singh, in the year 2013 in his biographical feature film, for which he got positive reviews as an actor & it, is his best performance yet, which also earned him Filmfare Award for Best Actor. He considers Robert Di Niro as his inspiration for his life & career & respects his parents for the heritage he got & continues to do better work. He has a production company named Excel Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. established with Ritesh Sidhwani.
He directed a 12 min short film named Positive, 2007 based on HIV-AIDS, to create awareness about the problem. He did sing for Rock On which showed his versatility. He has also launched a social campaign named MARD – Men against Rape & Discrimination.

Angarag Mahanta, better known as Papon, was born on 24th November 1975 in Guwahati district of Assam. He is deeply engaged in various forms of music in which lies his entire career and dreams. Angarag formed his own music band known as the ‘Papon and The East India Company.' He is only 12 years old and yet carved his niche in the music industry. He made an embark in the industry after his debut singing in Dhoom 3 and his version of Bande Hain Hum Uske. He gives all the credit to his dad who is his idol.

An accomplished musician in Tamil cinema, he is a part of the Shankar Ehsaan Loy trio team that provides music to Bollywood and other International films. He has won various Indian and multiple National Film Award. His most famous albums include, “Breathless“- Album that first gave him fame, including the song, "Breathless," in which he sings throughout the whole song without pausing to breathe and “Nine” - Nine is Shankar's most recent album. Each song is a representation of a "mood," including joy, sadness, love, etc. He was also invited by UNESCO and the US State Department to perform at the UN General Assembly Hall for the finale of the International Jazz Festival on 30 April 2012 which is a thing of pride. Shankar has always considered himself as a restless student wanting to learn more every time. He says he’s thirsty and want to learn every time and experiment with something new. He wants to be a perfectionist. Shanker also feels that Karnatak music is the most powerful form of music and he himself started with Karnataka classic which he says is the best to create a prominent base for music. Music is the thing which excites Shanker the most, and he would always be attached to it. Personal Life: Shanker Mahadevan was born in Chennai to a Tamil family but was later brought to Mumbai and was raised there. Being born into a Tamil family and later raised in Mumbai, he knows both Hindi and Tamil language but is not well versed with Tamil and Malayalam. He finished his schooling from OLPS High School in Chembur and his engineering in computer science from R.A.I.T (D Y Patil, Navi Mumbai). His wife, Sangeeta is Maharashtrian and oldest son Siddharth Mahadevan. Also, a singer, made his debut on the 2013 Bhaag Milkha Bhaag’s song, Zinda. Shankar’s youngest son, Shivam Mahadevan, also a singer made his debut in 2013 in the movie Dhoom 3’s song, Bande Hain Hum Uske. Mahadevan is fluent in Marathi, Tamil, Hindi, Urdu and English.

Rashid khan is a classical vocalist known for his mastery in classical music. He was born in Badayun on 1st July 1966. He is a stage performer are rarely sang for movies. His most notable movie song was in “Jab We met” named “AogeJub tum”. Rashid khan is the great grandson of the legendary UstadInayat Hussain Khan who is also the founder of the Rampur-SahaswanGharana. Since his early years, Rashid has been trained in the classic genre. Under the supervision of his grand uncle, UstadNissar Khan, Rashid was proclaimed by PanditBhimsen as the “assurance for the future of Indian vocal music”.

Shashwat Singh is a famous singer who started his career in 2009 with his brother, Rishabh Singh. They started creating fusion songs of melody and poetry in the name, Plasmafaith. They worked together for some time before moving on to different paths. His family thought that he would go down the traditional path to become an accountant or a lawyer. But he decided that music was the real deal. He started with an internship with the music giant Nitin Joshi. He gave Shashwat a book about Pro Tools on music software. He decided to further diversify his knowledge in music. He visited A R Rahman’s KM Music Conservatory in Chennai in 2010. There he gave an audition and managed to get selected for the school. He decided to do the vocal and piano preparatory program at the school. He did music theory and also participated in musical theatres. Along with other students, he recorded music for course projects and some of A R Rahman’s films.
