Mujhe Dor Koi Khinche is a Hindi serial broadcast on the Zee TV channel. The family consists of two sisters,Janvithe little sister, Arundathi theelder sister, Sukanya their mother, and their father. The family is in financial trouble as their father owns 40 Lakh loan to Mr.Pathak. Mr.Pathak has given them five days to repay the loan. They have received a notice that they have to sell their factory and home. When Janvi and Arundhati were little, Janvi had made her sister promise she would not marry. Janvi needs her big sisteras she is suffering from schizophrenia. But Arundhati’s mother and father want to marry her. They are worried about their two daughters. Arundhati agrees to meet the boy for marriage, after great persuasion from her mother and father. The boy,Siddharth, wants to return to America with his bride as soon as possible.

Arundhati’s parents are trying to marry her as soon as possible, before the news of their house and factory being sold spreads.Janvi still thinks that she can call her sister anytime she needs her, even after marriage. As soon as Janvi comes to know that Arundhati is going to America after marriage, she goes into a panic attack and starts screaming. She starts tearing notebooks but Arudhati consoles her. Siddharth’s family is highly disappointed in Arundhati’s family for hiding their mental sister and leaves them. Janvi goes to a school while Arundhati goes to a college. A boy named Rohit, in Janvi’s school is in love with her. He has proposed her multiple times, but she always refuses and tells the teacher.

They both also go to a doctor to get treatment and medicines for Janvi’s schizophrenia. Janvi is Arundhati’s responsibility and she loves her. The doctor also points out that not every patient of schizophrenia has such a caring sister to look after, so they become more and more ill. Janvi’s attacks are becomes frequent when she is afraid someone close to her is going to leave her. The doctor asks her what triggered her. She says that she did not like that Siddharth wanted to take her sister away from her. Arundhati has dropped the idea of marrying.

Meanwhile, Arundhati’s father is on the verge of committing suicide because of the loans he has on Mr.Pathak.Arundhati picks up the phone the call of Mr.Pathak, which he was neglecting all day long. She calls Mr.Pathak to their house. She also makes her father understand that he has to sort his problems in the present for a better tomorrow. Both the sisters have fun together.
