Amruta Jayesh Chitnis wishes to have an understanding life partner and doesn’t want to get married in a hurry. She lives with her parents, Jayesh and Bhavani, and her brother, Harsh. Amruta works in a bank. After being cheated by his lover, Virat Singh Ahuja concluded that all the relationships were fake. He also believes that women are money-minded. Virat is from a wealthy family. She happens to attend the engagement function of Nimrit, Virat’s sibling. On the day, Virat and Nimrit’s mother asks Amruta to transfer a lump sum to Nimrit’s would-be husband, Rajiv’s bank account as the engagement gift money. She speaks about this to her brother over the phone and transfers money. The negative comment by her made the Ahujas get the wrong opinion about her.

Soon, Amruta’s father shocked the entire family that he wanted to divorce his wife, and moved away with Ishika, with whom he had an affair. Following Amruta’s negative opinion about them, they planned and fired her from the job, using their influence. As she has to help her family run, she blackmailed Virat for their dowry scam and got a job in Virat’s organization. In a situation, she finds out that Nimrit’s fiancé has an affair with another girl, and she exposes it. However, Nimrit elopes with him and marries him. What happened next? Will Amruta continue her job with Virat? Has he developed the right opinion for her? The rest of the series deals with this.
