The story features a complicated love story between a young journalist girl and a rich and influential businessman.It starts with Aradhana and her friends sitting in a cafe and chit-chatting. Aradhana tells her friends how she met Reyansh Lamba. Reyansh Lamba is initially a highly misogynistic man, filled with ego and power. He is the CEO of Nation True News and hence is a powerful man while Aradhana is just the opposite. Even though she has the mind and strength to be influential in society, she doesn’t have enough power because she is middle-class. Even with an average family background, she makes her way into the life of this rich man, Reyansh. 

One day Aradhana’s friend Pooja, helps her sneak into Reyansh Lamba’s party so that she could gather some evidence against him. Reyansh catches Aradhana’s tactic and gets the evidence removed. This is the first time that Reyansh feels something for Aradhana. Reyansh’s father is immensely happy to see Aradhana’s young blood passion and so gives her a job at his office. The start of their relationship is somewhat rocky. They have a love-hate relationship where hate is the one they use to show to each other while love is kept within their hearts. 

Aradhana despises Reyansh as he hates women. Soon she finds out that this hatred is inter-related to his childhood trauma. His mother fell in love with another man and abandoned his father and him. They were left all alone and only had each other. Reyansh hence, has never been able to completely trust any woman since then. But Aradhana decides to change his perspective. She pities him, and wants to give him a chance to get to know how loyal and trustworthy women are. And that every person- man/woman, isn’t the same. 

Meanwhile, Aradhana and Reyansh helped their friends Vikram and Pooja to get married as it was much opposed to their families. During the wedding festivities, they become very close. Reyansh asks Aradhana if she is single and repeatedly gives her romantic hints. They both eventually fall in love with each other, not knowing what fate had in store for them. They spend a whole night together. The next day, they realised that the CCTV cameras were left on. Aradhana was dumbstruck in love so much so that she gave the footage to Reyansh, hoping that he would destroy it. 
Now even though Reyansh’s character has become a little soft-hearted for Aradhana, he still stays the toxic figure that he is. He does not destroy the footage and later uses it to exploit her when misunderstandings take place between them. Do these misunderstandings replenish between the couple? What happens to Aradhana after her character is criticised by society? The rest of the show deals with that.
