Shyamashish R Bhattachrya is one of the Indian TV industry’s biggest producers working right now. He is a writer and producer. Shyamashish started his career as a writer, he wrote many ad films and even wrote some memorable jingles for commercials. He also did some infomercials and digital campaigns. He started out in the TV industry in 2009 with the super-hit show ‘Na Aana Iss Desh Laado’, this was a show telecasted on Colors TV, about a very evil woman in a village who used to kill female babies by drowning them. Over his career, Shyamashish produced over 2000 episodes. One of the shows he produced, Saam Daam Dand Bhed, was about a carefree youth, who due to his circumstances has to take care of his family by working in a political party, this show won many awards. He is also the head of Shakutalam Telefilms, a renowned production house in the field of TV. Recently, Shyamashish started a plastic-free campaign, where he pledged to reduce the usage of plastic in his home, offices and sets. This initiative saw huge success as the plastic on the sets of his serials were almost banned.
