Diamond Mondal is from a humble background. Her father works as a security guard, and her mother is a maid. Once, a wealthy family visited the restaurant where Diamond worked, and Diamond had to take the order. To impress them, she spoke in English, but it backfired her, leaving her jobless. One of the wealthy family members had been shooting all these on his mobile, and Diamond noticed it and questioned him why they weren’t showing interest in covering the lives of the common people. He is Hridaan, a food vlogger. He asks her name, and Diamond tells her name and adds that she will make her name meaningful one day. The rest of the story follows the ups and downs in the lives of Hridaan and Diamond.
