Urdu Tv Serial Makan

Makan is a Pakistani drama serial that was telecasted on GEO TV and focuses on the concept of extra marital affairs and how it can lead to the utter destruction of a family. With 20 episodes each having a running time of 45 minutes, the serial tells the story of a rich family that consists of two brothers and their families.

Nawaz and Shehbaz are two brothers who together own a Cinema house. Nawaz is married to a rich lady named Bhabi G who is basically the dominant personality in the house. They have two children, Zahra and Akbar. Shehbaz on the other hand is married to Mehru who is portrayed as a typical woman who is obedient and submissive to her husband and family. Together they have three children, Jaffer, Gulfam and Seema. However, Shehbaz is not faithful to his wife and is secretly in a relationship with Bhabi G, Nawaz’s wife, leading to him snubbing Mehru and the kids every time Bhabi G is displeased. Jaffer gets a job at a bank and moves out of the house. He helps a woman named Saima and saves her from the threats and blackmails she had been getting from her ex-husband. He later marries her.

Zahra on the other hand is shown to be having an extra-marital affair with Sahid who happens to be the husband of her friend. Gulfam gets married with the film actress named Nazli which later causes the destruction of the family. With Nazli’s help he acquires the entire property from Bhabi G by using forgery and fraud and takes over the business from Nawaz. Nawaz dies from a heart-attack from the shock of it all while Nazli and her father push Bhabi G from the stairs leading to her getting paralysed. Later both of them are arrested for the murder of Bhabi G’s son Akbar.
