Saleem Sheikh is a Pakistani TV/film actor and producer. Born in March of 1965, in Rawalpindi, Pakistan, Saleem Sheikh's career started in the very early stages of life. He began as a child actor working for PTV's children plays like Shama in 1976. He is the younger brother of Javed Sheikh, who is a well-known and revered actor, producer, and director in the Industry. He is married to Nosheen Sheikh and has three beautiful daughters. He is very invested in his family, and all the family members are very close and share a special bond.
His adult career started in 1989 when he acted in a PTV play, Sunehrey Din, under the direction of Shoaib Mansoor. His first work as a movie actor was later, in 1992, when he starred in the movie Mohabbat Ke Saudagar. He has worked in many TV series, the most most popular of which are Makan(2006), Akhon Ka Ladla(2011-2013), Cheif Sahab(1996), Yeh Dil Aapka Hua(2002), and Dil Behkay Ga(2012).
In 1996, he won the Bolan Award for Best Actor for his movie Chief Sahab. In 2002, he won the Nigar Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role, Jamal in Yeh Dil Aapka Hua. In 2012, he won the PTV award for Best supporting actor for his work in Dil Behkay Ga.
