Super singer season 8 is a Tamil reality singing show aired on Vijay TV. It is an Indian Tamil singing competition show which got telecasted worldwide. This program which debuted in 2006, seeks to discover the best voice and singing talent in Tamil Nadu through a series of statewide auditions. Selected contestants must take part in various competition rounds, often based on a theme for a given week, and aim to be chosen to perform in the show's grand finale each season. Winners will be allowed to sing in upcoming Tamil movies and awarded lump sum money and the title of Super singer. To date, eight seasons have run profitably.
