Illaya Thalapathy was a Tamil TV show which was launched back in 2018 on Colors Tamil. The show, which was a fantasy period drama, aired on Colors Tamil on 28th July 2018. Illaya Thalapathy is another work of the famous ARKA Mediaworks, a production company that was accredited with the production of the movie Baahubali which was appreciated by audiences worldwide for its jaw-dropping VFX and production design. Illaya Thalapathy came to the TV screens with a dramatic grandeur and amazing VFX, which ascertained that a highly skilled production department was behind the making of the serial.
Illaya Thalapathy focuses the story of a man who has to travel in several parallel worlds to look for answers. On this journey, he encounters many friends and enemies and has many adventures. The show got an appreciation for its VFX and set design. The show went through an elaborate pre-production stage so that the show could look authentic with the costumes and set that was designed. To keep up with the story and script, the show also witnessed elaborate costumes and jewelry.
