The serial depicts a story of a conservative family consisting of a husband, Mr. Ramachandran, who works as a manager in a private firm and his wife, Mrs. Shyamala Ramachandran, along with their four daughters. Their family resembles typically ordinary families that we usually see in our Indian society. Ramachandran family has their wishes and dreams, which they want to fulfill. Like any Indian family, they want their children to grow up into well-mannered humble adults, and excel in all the fields, while possessing a good character.
As the story moves on, the family decides to get their eldest daughter married. They plan for her marriage. The marriage takes place with great pomp and show. The daughter finally gets settled, and as time went on, the goods news of her pregnancy arrived. This news showers a lot of joy and happiness among the family as they are soon going to be blessed with sweet coo coos of a newborn baby.
The story gets an unexpected turn when it is found out that Mrs. Shyamala, the mother of the married daughter, is also pregnant at the same time. As such cases are not easily digestible in a conservative society like India, Mrs. Shyamala gets subjected to the mockery of the people. The family goes through lots of ups and downs as they get trapped in the circle of tragic events.Â
