Yamaha MTV Road To Love is a Hindi language TV show that aired on the channel MTV every Sunday at 7:30 pm from September 2012 to November 2012. The show was a collaborated effort of MTV and Yamaha to promote the launch of their new bike Yamaha Fazer. The show ran for 12 episodes. Road to Love is a documentary of lovers who live states apart who have either cried over their distance or broke up due to their distance. Long-distance lovers use social media to keep their love alive, which sometimes becomes a difficult task. MTV and Yamaha resolved to unite such dejected lovers through this show. One of them travels the distance to find their loved one on the Yamaha Fazer along with the executive team.
The show featured every moment of the journey, from the lover being thrilled to embark upon the journey, reluctantly making a few stops to take a break from the unsuitable weather conditions, their eagerness to meet their girlfriend/boyfriend, them trying to win the other person over, and to the very last moment where they rush into each other’s arms. The show has featured eleven couples in the first eleven episodes, they were; Jash and Chaya, Rahul and Richa, Rohit and Priyanka, Rakesh and Shivika, Sunny and Swathi, Radhicka and Mansoor, Matin and Tamanna, Nirav and Ankita, Ali and Kumud.
