Pokemon DP Sinnoh League Victors is the 13th season of Pokemon anime and is the fourth & final season of Diamond and Pearl Series showing Dawn and Ash as they finish their Sinnoh region journey. It started on 5 June 2010 and used to come at Saturday morning on Cartoon Networks. It was originally aired in the United States. In India, it aired on 18 February 2013 on Pogo TV. It is telecasted from Monday to Friday at 9:30 pm. This is the shortest Pokemon anime season. In this season, you will see Brock, Dawn, and Ash as they travel across Sinnoh region and face battles, challenges, and mostly antics of Team Rocket. Now they have Galactic team out of their way, making Ash to focus on Sinnoh League’s qualifier and Dawn train to complete for final Contest Ribbon that would allow her to take part in Grand Festival.

The main human characters in this series are Ash Ketchum, Brock, Dawn, James, Jessie, Nurse Joy, Prof. Rowan, Prof. Oak, Tobias, Kenny, Johanna, Nando, Ursula, Zoey, Barry, Conway, Paul, and Officer Jenny. Ash’s Pokemon in this series involves Pikachu, Gible, Gliscor, Buizel, Monferno -> Infernape, Grotle -> Torterra, Cyndaquil -> Quilava and Staraptor. Dawn’s Pokemons include Togekiss, Cyndaquil, Mamoswine, Pachirisu, Buneary & Piplup; while Brock’s Pokemons include Sudowoodo, Happiny -> Chansey & Croagunk. Team Rocket has Pokemon like Meowth, Carnivine, Mime Jr., Seviper, Yanmega, and Wobbuffet. The story starts with Ash and his friends’ journey to Sunyshore City.

In the mid, they are attacked by a Magnezone and comes to find out that Magnezone and Metagross normally battle with each other, but right now their battle arena is filled with water due to which they are creating havoc in town. So, the episode shows them with Office Jenny trying to solve this problem. Then Ash and Buizel are challenged for a battle against Mr. Mime by Clayton which Mr. Mime wins but Ash and Buizel train harder and defeat them in the rematch. In the process, Buizel learns Ice Punch. After that, Ash participates in Pokethlon competition after meeting a man called Daniel. They reach Daybreak Town for Dawn’s contest to win final and fifth ribbon where she meets Ursula again.

Finals are between Ursula and Dawn, and after a tough battle, Dawn wins her fifth ribbon and thus qualifying for Grand Festival. Barry returns with the news that he now has 8 badges which means he is qualified for Sinnoh League. Lake Valor is revealed to be the location for Grand Festival. Dawn’s Pokemon Piplup learns Hydro Pump. Then they meet Flint, Sinnoh Elite Four member, and Volkner, Sunyshore City Gym Leader where Ash battles with Flint. This inspires Volkner to battle again against challengers. Sunyshore Gym battle is further postponed due to some problems, and Ash’s newly evolved Pokemon Torterra learns Leaf Storm. They meet Marley and lend their help to rescue a Shaymin.

Then they meet Ben who is a Pokemon Ranger and aid hum in a mission which involves Heatran. After that, they meet Bertha who is Sinnoh Elite Four member and Ash battles against her but loses. Jessie competes in Arrowroot Town Contest but loses from Princess Salvia. In spite of that, Salvia gives her ribbon, thus completing her qualifying criteria for Grand Festival. They then reach Valor Lakefront, and finally Sinnhon Grand Festival begins. In the appeal round, Kenny gets out, but Ursula, Jessie, Nando, Zoey, and Dawn reaches in next round. In the next round, Dawn wins from Ursula and go in Top 16. Nando, Zoey, Dawn, and Jessie reach semi-finals, where Zoey wins from Nando, and Dawn from Jessie. Dawn and Zoey compete in the finals where Zoey wins the Ribbon Cup.

Ash gets his 8th Gym Badge by defeating Volkner, and thus qualifies for Sinnoh League. Then they meet Buck. Lily of the Valley Conference takes place. At Professor Oak’s lab, Ash looks over his Pokemon, and the opening ceremonies take place marking the beginning of tournament which has 64 competitors. Ash defeats Nando in the first round, and Paul defeats Barry & Ash defeats Conway in the third round making Ash and Paul to compete against each other in which Ash wins. Ash loses from Tobias in semi-finals, and Tobias is the winner of Lily of the Valley Conference. After the tournament, Ash & Brock return to Kanto, but Dawn stays back. After reaching there, Brock heads to Pewter City and Ah with Pikachu returns to Pallet Town.
