The story is described by the grown-up variants of the primary characters, Naina, and Sameer.

The story begins in 1990, in Ahmedabad, India. Naina Aggarwal, a multi-year-old, studious understudy of Pragati Vidya Ka Mandir lives with her Chacha-Chachi Anand, and Bela, their girls, and her cousins Pooja, and Preeti,, and her dad Rakesh, senior sibling Arjun, Taiji-tauji Beena, and Jagdeesh, and their child Pralay. Sameer Maheshwari, a multi-yeariold, is living in an inn in Nainital. He is a joyful, attractive kid, and moves to Naina's school.

She right away succumbs to him, and continually attempts to pick up his consideration. Following a couple of months, Naina's school goes for an outing to Mount Abu, where Sameer claims to be enamored with her, and later is confounded about his very own sentiments after encountering Naina's minding side, and her adoration for him.

After tutoring, both the lovebirds enlist to the same school, VJN college. Naina is forced to breakup with Sameer due to family issues, and is forced to marry Sharad. But later Angad sees Sameers true devotion for Naina and approves of her relationship. Both their family agree for marriage, and the rest is the story of how they handle their lives.
