Kkehna Hai Kuch Mujhko is a soap opera that appeared on Sony TV and aired on a weekly basis. It was another production from Balaji Telefilms and was on air Friday - Sunday in the 8:30 PM time slot. The serial was originally designed for Star Plus, but the deal was later closed with the Sony TV. The show featured the pair of Pallavi Joshi and Kiran Karmarkar as the lead of the show. Their main characters of the story are Reva Kapoor and Nishchay Kapoor.

The story of the show revolves around Reva, who is the leading female protagonist. Her character is that of a dutiful and devoted wife, as well as a doting mother. Reva and Nishchay Kapoor, are the parents of four children in the show. They are a middle-aged, upper-middle-class family. They led an idyllic and carefree lifestyle. The dream run continues till it comes to light that Nishchay was having an affair with his secretary. Trouble ensues within the household splitting the family. Reva although heartbroken on finding this out, collects herself. She starts to put her life back in order. The serial is the story of her journey of self-discovery. As the series progresses, we see Reva transform herself. She goes from being a demure wife to a strong, confident woman who starts to take control of her life. She resumes her desire to handle the production work for motion pictures and starts to work towards it. Her mother in law forms a constant pillar of support by her side through these tough times.

She always stood by Reva through these tough times. She even abandoned her son to stand by what she believed to be right. Pallavi Joshi, who played Reva Kapoor’s character, is a renowned television and film actress. She took to the stage early. Her career has many powerful performances on the stage, on screen and even in cinemas. She is also the recipient of a National Film Award. Her portrayals have also got her Filmfare Awards through the years. The show saw some endearing performances from a host of powerful actors. These included veterans like Vivan Bhatena, Nazneen Patel, Surekha Sikri and more. Swapna Waghmare Joshi was the director of the show. Mushtaq Shaikh wrote the heart-warming script. In spite of the positive reviews of the show, it never enraptured the audience. It went off the air following a string of low TRPs.
