Kesariya Balam Aavo Hamare Des was an Indian Television Drama, which was Broadcasted on the Channel.Shara Tv.It was produced by Ajay Sinha and the lead roles were played by Jaya Binju (Rukmani), Akshat Gupta (Ranveer) and Toral Rasgupta (Rasal).
Kesariya Balam Aavo Hamare Des was inspired by the Bollywood film, ‘Satyam Shivam Sundaram' and the message of the serial was that, “does outer beauty mean everything?”.
The story revolved around a girl named Rukmani, who belongs to a very poor family in Rajasthan. She has a burn scar on her face which she received as a child while saving her step sister. Ranveer is a painter, who belongs to a rich family. He paints a portrait of Rukmani’s painting, and when he meets Rukmani he proposes marriage to her. Rukhmani wants to tell him the truth about her scar, but somehow fails to and soon after marriage when Ranveer sees the scar, he feels cheated. Then Rukmani’s father offers him the hand of his other daughter, Rasal, who is very beautiful and he marries her.
After the wedding, Rasal starts insulting and misbehavingve with Raukmani accompanied by her In- laws and Rukmani is treated like a servant. Soon Rasal and Rukamni, both get pregnant but lose the babies. Meanwhile, Ranveer loses his memory in an accident and Rukmani takes care of him, and he finally falls in love with her. This upsets Rukmani’s in-laws with this, and they confront Rukmani.
On the other hand, Rasal meets with her long lost love Vikram and Ranveer whole-heartedly arranges their marriage. Rasal was already pregnant before she got married to Vikram, and after she gives birth to Ranveer’s son., she decides to give the baby to Ranveer and Rukmani. Rukmani takes the decision of never bearing any children so that she can only love Govind (Rasal’s Son) like her own son.
The story then takes a leap intoof four years later and Ranveer regains his memory of Govind’ s birthday. He remembers that his cousin had killed his father and there after his cousin gets shot by his uncle. Rukamni and Ranveer live happily ever after. The Show was highly acclaimed by the critics and the audiences because of its serious concept, but later the show lost its track.
