playing the lead character in the serial. She is a modern lady. In this serial, she played a character of Dolly aunty. It is a story of Dolly Aunty played by Farida Jalal who wanted to keep paying guests in her home as she could not live in a villa which had six bedrooms in her villa. In order to make her home a place for the accommodation of paying guests, she also appoints a manager to look after her guests and the whole house. Dolly Parera plays the manager role. As paying guests need food along with accommodation, Dolly aunty appoints even a French chef along with a maid to take care of the house.

Aabis Raza also directed another comedy serial for Geo TV, which was also a humorous and comedy in nature. Aabis Raza made an exit from Hum TV and then joined Geo TV in which he directed his first venture ‘Dolly Aunty Ka Dream Villa.' The series include a few more Pakistani actors such as Talat Hussain & Aamir Qureshi, actress Jana Malik, Ayesha Gul and Armeena Rana Khan. The series is full of humor and laughter along with some sweet romance too. Farida Jalal is indeed a very competent actress and has done full justice to the role.
This was Farida Jalal’s first break into television. Later she made her appearances umpteen times and often being known to give versatile performances in small screen.
