Aabis Raza is a Pakistani television Drama Director as well as a filmmaker/ producer at MD Productions Entertainment (Moomal Productions) since 2010. He was previously a part of GEO Television from March 2005 to August 2010), as a senior producer.

Aabis has an innovative approach towards drama production for television and has received huge acclamation from the audience for his excellent works. In 2000, Raza started his career as an editor NLE with a production house. In 2002, he worked as a freelance director of comedy dramas like “Ab Kya Hoga” and “Ab Karo Na Dosti”.

After this, there had been numerous works to his credit such as telefilms, sitcoms, series, soaps, etc. Aabis directed “AurPhir”, a drama series for ARY Digital and “Aye Dasht-e-Junoon” for Hum TV. TV shows like “ Action” (an action series), “Qutubuddins” (a comedy series) and “ Dolly Aunty Ka Dream Villa” are all accredited to him.

Aabis’s sterling direction of telefilms like “ Footpath” and “Kokh” was widely appreciated by viewers and earned him marvelous responses. He has contributed towards the making of documentaries and commercials as well.

Raj Kapoor is a film maker and movie director from the Tamil film making industry. He is someone who has directed many of the well-known movies in the Tamil cinema industry. He was born on 8th October, in the year 1965. He has also been on the silver screen through many films and has mostly appeared as a supporting actor. After Raj Kapoor’s debut as an actor in the movie, ‘Thalaimurai’ in the year 1998, he had made a declaration, that he had intentions to continue to pursue acting in more films before plunging into his successful directorial career. In the early 2000s, he was very actively involved in one of the productions of a family drama of a fairly big budget, named ‘Enna Vilai Azhagae’ starring some of the best star actors of that time such as Ameesha Patel and ‘Prashant’ in the leading roles. The film was made with a huge budget, and its shooting was done mostly in the European country of France. Although most of the movie’s schedules were done in Paris, ‘Enna Vilai Azhagae’ remains an unreleased film. Some of the films that were directed by Raj Kapoor are ‘Vambu Sandai’ and later other movies like, ‘Lakshmi Puthrudu’ starring actors such as ‘Diya’, Uday Kiran and ‘Sathyaraj’, ‘Aval Varuvala’ which was released in 1998, ‘Sudhandhiram’ which was a Tamil remake of ‘Ghulam’ a Hindi film, ‘Kusthi’ which was released in 2006, ‘Samasthanam’ which featured actors like Sarath Kumar, ‘Devayani’, Suresh Gopi and ‘Abhirami’ etc. He has also appeared in certain movies such as ‘Kondaan Koduthaan’, in ‘Saagasam’ set to release in February 2016, in ‘Aranmanai’ alongside ‘Sundar C.’ and ‘Siddharth’, in ‘Eli’ by director Yuvaraj Dhayalan, etc. The movie, ‘Aval Varuval’, was a Tamil remake of the famous Malayalam movie which went by the name of ‘Manjil Virinja Pookal’. The movie was a noted success and it starred actors such as Babloo Prithviraj, ‘Sujatha’ and ‘Simran’, etc.

Abhinay Deo

Abhinay Deo is an Indian commercial director who later turned into a feature film director. He had no aspirations of become a star, all he wanted to do was present stories to the public. Deo says that his goal was never glamour, acting or even films. He considers himself to be a lucid storyteller. Abhinay is the son of actors Ramesh and Seema Deo, and bears a close resemblance to his father, regarding appearance. He is the younger brother of Ajinkya Deo, a well-known actor in Marathi films. Abhinay has studied architecture and practised it for a year as well. Abhinay’s debut movie was “Game”, which released in 2011. On July 1, 2011, he did his second directorial venture, “Delhi Belly”, in collaboration with Akshat Verma. Deo received the Filmfare Award for Best Debut Director for this film. Although the flick got an ‘A’ certificate for the usage of an enormous amount of slangs and expletives, it managed to entertain the audience immensely. Abhinay has done over 400 ad films working with O & M, as well as independently. He also admits that making these ad films polishes his skills as a feature film director. He directed a TV series, “24”, which was based on the American series of the same name. It aired from 4 October, 2013 to 21 December, 2013. Abhinay says that he, and writer Akshat Verma, few years down the line, hope to team up for a sequel to their hit film, “Delhi Belly”. In a recent interview on a Marathi channel, he announced his new project for an Indian TV channel and confirmed to cast Ajinkya in it. He is excited about the release of his 2016 upcoming action thriller film, “Force 2”, under the Film City banner. It’s a spin-off from the 2011 super hit movie, “Force”.
