Aabis Raza is a Pakistani television Drama Director as well as a filmmaker/ producer at MD Productions Entertainment (Moomal Productions) since 2010. He was previously a part of GEO Television from March 2005 to August 2010), as a senior producer.
Aabis has an innovative approach towards drama production for television and has received huge acclamation from the audience for his excellent works. In 2000, Raza started his career as an editor NLE with a production house. In 2002, he worked as a freelance director of comedy dramas like “Ab Kya Hoga” and “Ab Karo Na Dosti”.
After this, there had been numerous works to his credit such as telefilms, sitcoms, series, soaps, etc. Aabis directed “AurPhir”, a drama series for ARY Digital and “Aye Dasht-e-Junoon” for Hum TV. TV shows like “Action” (an action series), “Qutubuddins” (a comedy series) and “Dolly Aunty Ka Dream Villa” are all accredited to him.
Aabis’s sterling direction of telefilms like “Footpath” and “Kokh” was widely appreciated by viewers and earned him marvelous responses. He has contributed towards the making of documentaries and commercials as well.
