India with 28 states and 7+ union territories is one of the diverse places on earth. In the country, different types of culture and art exist and most of us are unaware of it. We have wonderful places, but we have no idea about them. Well, that's what the show India Unlocked is trying to show us in the form of this beautiful show. The show started in January 2017 from Monday to Friday at 9 pm. The show aired on National Geographic. The show was a documentary series made for the viewers, who want to increase their knowledge about India without leaving their homes.

In India unlocked, the anchors of the show visited different places in India and told the viewers unique stories from these places. They visited different states, different cities from the states, and other places, inside India and explored unique and weird stories from these places. They told the viewers facts related to these places.

In one of the episodes, they visited a palace in Punjab where the local people host Langar every week to feed the poor and people in distress. The show focused on showing us how these villagers collect all the food items by themselves and then cook the food without anyone's help and after doing that they feed it to whoever wants to eat.

In another episode, they visited the border of India and Bangladesh. They showed the viewers a story of 4 brothers, two of them live in India, and the other two live in Bangladesh. Later they said that they live on the border and their home comes under the borderline. They revealed the problems they have to face because of the situation they interviewed these people and asked them things one is interested to know about.

In another episode, they covered the history of the most famous Indian sport, kabaddi. They told the history of kabaddi, how it started and where it started. They told the viewers how the sport ended up turning into a well earning sport that is now being telecasted on Television. They interviewed popular Kabadi players and asked them about the changes they saw after the sport became famous and before it was just a sport that was being played by people in the field. They shared their experience related to that sport. If you want to learn about rich Indian culture this is the perfect show for you.
