Cosmos: A spacetime odyssey is a science documentary series which is presented by Carl Sagan on public Broadcasting service in 2014, it is the second version of original 13- part Cosmos: a personal voyage aired in 1988, it becomes so popular back then that they come up with this show. This show is hosted by Neil deGrasse Tyson who is astrophysicist, author and science communicator, he has hosted the NOVA Science Now, Startalk before and in 2015 he got a public welfare medal for his “extraordinary role in exciting the public about the wonders of science “.
The series approach to universe is same as original Cosmos like, “Cosmic calendar”, and the ship on which host goes on imagination with some update like extensive computer-generated graphics and footage augmenting the narration, most of the time Neil will take you in the Universe in his ship of imagination and will tell and analyze everything about it. This show premiered In United State across 21st Century fox network but later on Fox network with Rebroadcasting of National geography with extra content. The series has won many television broadcasting awards along with Peabody award for educational content and currently, National geography is looking forward to releasing new season in this year.
