Dadagiri Unlimited Season 8 was the eighth season of a popular Bengali Quiz show which aired on Zee Bangla from 3^rd August 2019 to August 2020, with a long break in the middle due to Covid-19 halts. The show was hosted by the famous former captain of the Indian Cricket team and the former President of the Board of Control For Cricket in India, Mr. Saurav Ganguly.

In the show, the contestants were selected from the 24 districts of West Bengal through preliminary rounds, in which they had to answer six questions, which were typically yes/no type questions, by pressing buttons against their options and from each question, a player from each district would be selected for the following rounds. Six contestants would be selected from 23 districts of West Bengal. For the toss, six clues were given to each team for guessing a single answer, and then later, a seventh clue would be given to help the team finalize their answer. The ‘runs’ of the participants would get deducted if they guessed the wrong answer, and they would be given points for giving the correct answer. The participants were required to write down their answers after the first clue on a piece of paper without disclosing it to anyone, and if this answer matched the final correct answer, then the team would be rewarded 12 points.

The teams that could answer the questions correctly using the least number of clues would be given the maximum points. The overall game included several rounds, namely Power Play, Cover Drive, Googly, slog over, and Bapi Bari Ja.
