Bengali Tv Serial Kanakanjali

Kanakanjali is a Bengali serial scripted by Sutanu Gupta and directed by Arindam Ganguly and Anal Chakraborty. Sambaran Dutta penned the dialogues. Chandan Roy Chowdhury composed the music. Prosenjit Chatterjee and Arpita Chatterjee produced the series under the Ideas Creations banner. Kanakanjali was premiered on Zee Bangla. The serial got telecasted from 29th August 2011 to 22nd September 2012.

Shuvro Chowdhury is a popular Saree dealer. He has four children; two daughters, Shreya and Jhimli, and two sons, Probal and Promit. Probal is the eldest of all, and he is a textile engineer, and the younger one Promit is a graduate in management studies. As the elder one had chosen his profession, Shuvro believed that his youngest son, Promit, would look after his business. In a situation, Shuvro becomes bankrupt, and his sons didn’t support him. Shreya stood by her father and helped him get back his lost identity. In Indian society, sons are considered the heirs and are given the right to carry out their parents’ business or handling properties. Kanakanjali is about the bonding between the father and the daughters, who break the unwritten rules and make their father proud.

The series has the cast, including Kanyakumari Mukherjee, Tilottama Dutta, Ritwik Chakraborty, Amrita Chattopadhyay, Arindam Ganguly, Roopa Ganguly, Saswati Guha Thakurata, Aparajita Auddy, Pratima, Rajesh KR Chattopadhyay, Swagata Basu, Swagata Mukherjee, Dulal Lahiri, Mitra, Tania Kar, Soma Chakraborty, Disha Ganguly and Shuvrojit Dutta.
