The young Lokenath was played by ‘Aranya Roychowdhury.’ The series premiered on 9^th April, 2019 and aired from Monday to Sunday at 7:30 pm. The show revolved around the life on Lokenath Bramhacharya, one of the most followed saints of Bengal and India.

The serial starts with the birth of Baba Lokenath, when his mother notices a halo around his head and gets to know that he has been born for the greater good. At the age of 11, Lokenath and his friend Benimadhab become disciples of Guru Bhagwan Ganguly. Lokenath then walked away from family life, taking refuge in Kalighat temple in Calcutta.

In the next 25 years, the Baba spends his life in spiritualism and meditation, passing the toughest days of Yoga. At this time the Baba lives in forests and deep jungles. After this he goes on to the Himalayas to practice Sadhana. He spends his final days in Barodi, present day Bangladesh, where commoners regarded him as a messiah, a medium to their salvation. Lokenath baba shows the path of compassion and tolerance to millions of people and is still followed even after more than 100 years of his death.
