1983 Movie Official Trailer Synopsis
The film beautifully depicts the transformation of our Nation towards the importance of sports through the span of two generations. The plot follows a teenage boy named Rameshan (Nivin Pauly), who is a cricket enthusiast and wants to pursue his career in sports. However, his dad thinks that to excel in life the only way is to excel in studies. He feels that playing sports have been a waste of time. Hence, Rameshan has to let go of his dreams. He is an average student whose parents want him to become an engineer.
He even loses his childhood sweetheart who gets married to an Indian American. After his marriage, Rameshan is blessed with a baby boy Kannan. As the child grows, he shows interest in cricket and Rameshan wants his son to be a cricketer one day. He trains his son and even admits him to a sports academy. After many ups and downs, Kannan gets selected for the Under-14 district cricket team. With an amazing cinematography of a village in Kerala and an emotional touch of the storyline, the movie will bring out your childhood memories. The movie is totally worth watching.
