Plot

Waltair Veerayya is a fisherman and a do-gooder. He helps the navy and the coastal guards when they are in trouble. Solomon Caesar is an international drug peddler who escapes from the RAW. Seethapathi, an honest cop, wants to get him. He approaches Veerayya to bring back the criminal from Malaysia. Veerayya accepts the task and moves to Malaysia, where he meets Aditi. Soon, he finds Solomon and becomes friends. What’s his plan, and whom did he meet there? What is his connection with Solomon and the team? The rest of the film speaks of all these.

Star Performance

Chiranjeevi’s style and mannerisms are fantastic. Ravi Teja’s chemistry with Chiranjeevi worked out well. Shruti Haasan has nothing significant to do. Bobby Simha, Rajendra Prasad, and Prakash Raj have done their part well.

Analysis

Bobby planned for a racy screenplay to satisfy the Megastar fans. Unfortunately, the screenplay didn’t have much to offer. Chiranjeevi’s dance and action sequences are really a treat to his fans. Why Shruti Haasan took such a template heroine role is a big question here. It seems the director didn’t want to test a different script and screenplay for the Megastar and played safe. He could’ve used Chiru’s potential well. The background music and the songs are good. The production design is neat. The visuals are cool and appealing. The VFX could’ve been a little better.

Verdict

Chiru is a good dancer, fighter, and a graceful actor; everyone knows that. If Bobby had designed a better script and screenplay, the film would’ve also been a treat for the general audience.
