Hippi” is scripted and directed by TN Krishna and produced by Kalaipuli S Thanu. Nivas Prasanna is the music composer, RD Rajasekhar cranked the camera and “ K L Praveen” edited the film. “Kartikeya” Digangana Suryavanshi, JD Chakravarthy, Hari Teja and Vennela Kishore are in the star cast.

Devadas had been in a relationship with Sneha. After seeing her friend Amuktamalyada, he falls for her and quits his relationship with Sneha. He tries hard to get the consent of Amuktamalyada and finally gets a positive response to his proposal. When they both entered into a new relationship and wanted to take it to the next level, they find something uncomfortable. What is that? Did they solve the issues? Watch the film to get the answer.

Star Performance

Kartikeya comes with six-pack abs to attract the youngsters. He is trendy and looks good. His performance is quite decent. Digangana is impressive in her looks and performance. JD Chakravarthy and Vennela Kishore had done their roles perfectly.

The film doesn’t have a new story. In a few minutes, we will feel that the film is a repetition of something, which we had already seen umpteen times. Although the stars look good, the narration is weak and hence it made the audiences feel much irritated. The cinematography is good. The editor should have cut some scenes and made the film a bit short. The screenplay and the narration didn’t match the contemporary style. Although the production values are excellent, the story and the narration made them waste.

What’s There?

  • Performances of the stars are good

What’s Not There?

  • Story and narration are weak
  • Same old romantic story
  • Editing should have been better

The film didn’t match the latest filmmaking techniques. With the old script and old fashioned narration, Hippi failed to attract the audiences.
