Plot
Ram settled in Malaysia. After the death of his parents, he comes to India to sell his property. While he plans to sell the property, it is rumored that it is haunted. However, Ram doesn’t want to sell the house at a low price. So, he decided to test if the house is haunted. Ram appoints four people to stay in the house for four days and test if there is a ghost. All the four people are abnormal and they are in need of money and hence they agree to stay in the house. Among the four, one guy suffers from a disorder and he laughs when he is scared and cries when he is happy. Another guy is a deaf and a night blind. The third person is addicted to liquor and after drinking, he becomes completely different. The fourth guy has a split personality disorder. How these four manage to stay in the house and prove the nonexistence of the ghost? Watch the film in theaters!
Star Performance
All the stars have performed excellently well. Thagubodhu Ramesh played the drunkard role fantastically. Shakalaka Shankar spoofs the stars and makes the audiences laugh out loud.
Analysis
Mahi V Raghav, the director has brought a unique concept of the horror story here. Unlike the common people getting afraid of the ghosts, here is a ghost frightening on seeing the people. Mahi should be appreciated for bringing in Taapsee. Although she has a limited screen presence, the director brings her in at right intervals and makes the audiences feel that she comes throughout the film.
What’s There?
A different horror story with comedy elements
Even it is a low budget film, it is perfect in visuals and other technical matters
Background music is fantastic
Dialogues are hilarious and the entire theater laughs together
Screenplay is well designed
What’s Not There?
First half is a bit lengthy, as they introduce the characters with their flashbacks
Verdict
Aanando Brahma comes with a different script and the stars perform it neatly. From the time, the four heroes enter the house, the comedy mania starts and it continues until the end. Aanando Brahma is worth watching for its script, screenplay and performance!
