Uchakattam is scripted and directed by Sunil Kumar Desai. Sanjoy Chowdhury composes the music. Rajan and Vishnuvardhan cranked the camera and Kemparaju edited the film. Devaraj produced the film under D Creations banner.

Aditya and Rashmi are lovers. Aditya wants to propose her at the New Year party. At that party, she witnesses a murder and shoots it in her camera. So, the villains chase Rashmi and she hides in a car. Aditya searches for Rashmi with the help of his friend. They find her in a jungle, but she gets stuck with the villains. How Aditya save Rashmi is the rest of the story.

Star Performance

Sai Dhanshika and Tanya Hope excelled in their roles. Thakur Anoop Singh did his best. Kabir Duhan Singh and Kishore did justice to their roles. We should definitely praise Dhanshika for her action sequence. Yes, without using the body double, Dhansika has performed a risky action scene.

Right from the first scene, the director made the audiences glued to the seats. The Background score by Sanjoy is excellent and the visuals are fantastic. The screenplay is perfect, but the execution seems to be artificial in some places.

What’s There?

  • Screenplay is good
  • Dhanshika’s performance is a special strength
  • Visuals and BGM are fantastic

What’s Not There?

  • Artificiality in some scenes

Except for a few scenes, the film impresses the audiences with its neat screenplay, performances and visuals. The dialogues are very few and the BGM occupies. Uchakattam is a different attempt by Sumil Kumar Desai. It is watchable once!
