Meanwhile, the heroine’s father GM Kumar dies as he consumed duplicate liquor. In this case, Jaya Anand is arrested. After getting a bail, he comes to the same village. The angry villagers try to send him out. But, Jaya Anand stays there and reveals his story. After knowing his background, the villagers started protesting against the liquor shops, along with the hero. Did they succeed? Watch the film in theaters!

Star Performance

Jaya Anand, the new hero has performed quite naturally. He doesn’t seem to be a new face but, excelled in his character well. Manisha Jith, GM Kumar, Pasanga Sivakumar and others have done their part well, as usual. Manisha’s performance in the climax is touching.

The director Veeramani has chosen an apt script to the current scenario. The actors have emoted well naturally. Sivakumar’s decision after losing all the money in the wine shop, which he has kept for his daughter’s marriage, is shocking.

What’s There?

  • The script is good and the stars’ performance too
  • Cinematography and the music are the big pillars of the film

What’s Not There?

  • No negatives to pinpoint in particular

Although the hero is a new face and the heroine is not much popular in Kollywood, they have exposed their natural performance. The film has come at the right time, where the people are protesting against the TASMAC. If you watch message oriented films, then Thirappuvizha is for you.
