Netru Indha Neram is a mystery-thriller scripted and directed by Sai Roshan KR. Clapin Filmotainment’s Naveenkumar produced the film. Vishal Manivannan cranked the camera and Govind N edited the film. Kevin N composed the music. The film features Shariq Hassan, Haritha, Monica Ramesh, Kaviya Amira, Divakar Kumar, Nithin Aaditya, Aravindh Raghunathan, Anand Raj, Bala Murugan P.A, Arul Selva, K. R. NaveenKumar, J. Ramesh, and Karthik.
Plot
Seven college friends are on a trip to Ooty. Among those 7, Nikhil and Rithika are lovers. During their trip, Nikhil goes missing. Velraj, a police officer investigated the case. He questioned the rest of the friends. Meanwhile, another friend goes missing. A serial killer’s trace is also seen. Was the police officer able to find the truth? Where were those boys? The rest of the film deals with these.
Star Performance
Shariq has done well in action scenes. Haritha Laxman is okay with her role. But, in most of the scenes, the actors didn’t deliver the dialogues properly.
Analysis
The film starts on an interesting note, but fails to give the same interest it provided in the beginning. The serial killer’s depiction looks comical. With a tattoo, mask and black dress, the killer’s look kills. Right from the start, the makers make the audience suspect one of the friends. The scenes are designed as such when they narrate their version to the people who investigate. The film is made in a non-linear pattern making the audience anticipate the next happenings. However, the screenplay is not gripping and hence the audience loses interest. The background score is loud and test the audibility of the audience. The characters are not developed well and makes the actors detached from the story.

Verdict
Though the pattern of storytelling was interesting, the screenplay, performances and character development were a big let-out. If you don’t have any movies to watch this week, you can try this film!
