’s family is struggling to make both ends meet. Hence he journeys to Chennai to get the help of a pal. But unfortunately ,he makes a wrong call to a bank robber, and this proves to turn his life topsy turvy.
There are several debutantes in this flick. A man getting into a problem while seeking money is the crux of the movie. Roshan Basheer (the villain of Paapanasam), does the role of an unemployed person. He seems to be promising and will surely make rounds in the Tamil film industry. But again, Biju Issaac (the robber) steals the show with his outstanding performance. Biju Isaaq does his job convincingly as a robber whose preoccupation is money. The plot of the movie is presented in a proper manner (though in predictable lines) and the direction by R Radhakrishnan is fantastic. He has proved that he is indeed a talented filmmaker. The movie has no songs and the background music is not up to the mark. The cinematography of is just average.
Certain characters like the CBI officers could have been crafted properly.
The significant moments in the flick could have been given more importance since they seem to be running at a quick pace. The bank robbery could have penned in a better manner.
Certain scenes could have been crafted in a logical manner. The main solace of the film is that it doesn’t have comedy track just for the sake of it. Well, when small budget movies are made and they emerge victoriously it is only a welcoming sign.
Verdict: You can watch this film once since it has a theme that is relevant in today’s society.
