Plot
This coming-of-age story revolves around Joe. The film shows his life from school to adulthood as a married man. Joe is the only son of a wealthy family. He lives a carefree life with his friends, who have been with him since school. Joe develops feelings for his classmate Suchi. She is a very soft-spoken Kerala girl. She also starts liking Joe, and the two decide to marry after finishing college. As time passes, the couple finishes college.Â
When Joe visits Suchi’s home to ask for her hand in marriage, an unexpected and emotional twist comes up. Joe is devasted with this, and it becomes difficult for him to move on. His parents insisted Joe get married soon so that he could get ahead in his life. They persuade him to marry Shruthi. Joe agrees to marry her to please his parents. Joe has no idea that Shruthi is not interested in the marriage because of her past ghost experience. Despite their opposing views, they decide to marry. The rest of the movie is about how they face difficulties in their married life.

Malavika Manoj, a Malayalam actor who made her Tamil debut with this film, gave an outstanding performance as Suchi. She is perfect for the role and is a potential star.

delivers the story with sincerity, there is a gap between us, the audience, and the characters. In Joe and Shruthi’s romance, we never get the sense that they need to come together.
Both of these characters lack substances, preventing us from rooting for them. Joe is just a boy next door, and she is just a gorgeous girl from the next state. However, the director excels in the scenes involving Joe and Shruthi. Scenes where Joe’s mother expresses her love at first sight are exceptional. If there is one word that can accurately describe Joe, it is a decent film about college life and youth. It is a thoughtful picture that delivers its political message correctly. It respects its female characters, even when the protagonist uses abusive language, revenge pornography, and suicide responsibly.Â
