Gemini Ganeshanaum Suruli Raajanum is a romantic comedy entertainer scripted and directed by Odam Ilavarasu. Gemini Ganeshanaum Suruli Raajanum star cast has " Atharvaa," Regina Cassandra, Sanchita Shetty, Pranitha Subhash, Aishwarya Rajesh, Naan Kadavul Rajendran, Aaditi Pohankar and " Soori." Amma Creations " T Siva" produced the film on a large scale. " D Imman" composed the tunes and Sree Saravanan cranked the camera. "Praveen KL" is the editor. The film was initially started with Kalaiyarasan Harikrishnan. Even after announcing the star cast, the film didn’t see the launch date. Later, it was announced as shelved. After a few months, the film was launched again with Atharvaa as the lead actor.

Plot

Gemini Ganeshan gets the name, as his dad is an ardent fan of popular yesteryear actor of the same name. Gemini’s father narrates him the old stories of the star, which made Gemini a play boy. He takes girls’ love for granted and make fun with their love. Gemini loves Lavanya, Priya, Pooja and Devi. He impresses all these girls with his tactics and makes them fall for him. Finally, Gemini feels his stupidity and wants to settle in the life. He gets his marriage fixed. He plans to invite his ex-lover Lavanya for his marriage, but he couldn’t find her at the place, where she lived. At that time, he narrates his story to Surluli Raaajan, who calls himself a don. Whom did Gemini marry? Find the answer in the theaters.

Star Performance

Atharvaa has done the role of a lover boy with a comedy dip. He has done his role perfectly. Soori is seen in his usual character. Aishwarya Rajesh has played an interesting character and all the other heroines had template roles.

Analysis

Odam Ilavarasu, the director of the film, has shown Atharvaa in a different role and that doesn’t mean that the director has come with a different script. We had seen these kinds of Playboy scripts in Tamil film industry, a lot of times. The film didn’t fail to make the audiences laugh in the second half and so, we can thank the director for his comical screenplay and dialogues.
