Plot: Ettuthikkum Madhayaanai is the film with the new comers. The one-liner of the story is a Policeman who got transferred and move to the new place was killed by someone and who is the killer and what made him to kill him is the tail of the story.
Ettuthikkum Madhayaanai has Sathya, Sreemukhi, Banuchander, K.S. Thangasamy, Laghubaran and Sam, Anderson. Ettuthikkum Madhayaanai is the second movie of the Rattinam fame K. S. Thangasamy. The first scene of the movie displays the violence. A young man’s death is the first scene and the story travels to the transfer of Natesan alias Natty in Tirunelveli. First half of the film has the love sequence of Natesan with Sarah. Sarah works as the local cable TV anchor. After a few scenes, Natty’s father who is a Policeman was killed by some unknown people and soon it was revealed that, the killer was Tamizhselvan, the brother of his close friend Prabha. The rest of the story says the reason behind the murder and how the hero gets ready to face the tough situation.
There are some situations similar to that of the usual Tamil film and some other situations which don't deal with the manner which the film deals with. When Tamilselvan comes to know about the love affair of Natty and Sarah, he makes both the mothers to meet and discuss about the life of their children, which is not highly seen in our side. When the Natty’s father dies, as usual, his job is transferred to his son, which we see in most of the films. Why the directors are not thinking of different situations? Stereotyped situations provided in most of the films, will definitely bore the people.
Though the story is somewhat boring, the director has tried it in a better way. Lip synch is better for the actors than his previous film. Music is an Okay type. Sathya looks better than his previous movie Amara Kaaviyam.
