Plot
Baasha is an advertisement painter. He was born to a Muslim father and a Hindu mother. Later, his mother embraced Christianity. Someone murdered Baasha, and the reason is not revealed. Baasha's relatives wanted to do the final rites as per Muslim tradition. But, others in their community object to this, stating that he had not practiced Islam.
In the same way, the Hindu community people in the area didn't allow him to cremate. Finally, the Christians get ready to bury him as per their tradition, as his mother converted as a Christian. Meanwhile, a political party uses this situation and creates chaos. What happens next? The rest of the story deals with it.
Star Performance
The stars, including Radha Ravi, Naren, and Jayaraj, had done an excellent job.
Analysis
Maran makes his debut as a director with this political satire. The film's first half is okay, with some dialogues that make the audience giggle. Certain dialogues are thought-provoking too. The second half is not much impressive, as it has lengthy dialogues and scenes. The film speaks about religious issues with a satire-base. But, not all would take the film on a lighter note. The film is technically weak, but it is compensated with the first half. Certain things are planned as a satire but reflect reality. The film would have been better if the second half had been made with better dialogues and executed well.

Verdict
Being his debut movie, Maran has tried out his best. The film would have reached more audiences if the second half had been better.
