Plot

All the actors are decent at best in their respective roles.
Analysis
As this is a situational comedy most of the heavy lifting is done by the actors but do they succeed in making the audience laugh? The film is a slapstick comedy so the humor is mostly restricted to the characters actions. But they are basic, not exactly generating the laugh out loud moments. The film also has a social message which doesn't pan out well. It feels preachy rather than enlightening. The actors are decent at best. Comedy is a genre where the more natural the delivery, the better the punchline. Here it feels more rehearsed; there is no room for improvisations. The songs are decent and so is the cinematography. Thankabhasmakuriyitta Thamburatty is an average comedy film with a half-baked storyline and jokes which some would like others to ignore.
