Plot

Das, an aimless youngster, opts out of wrestling during his early ages due to the rigorous training undertaken by his father, and this created partial differences in their relationship. These differences make things difficult for Das who is compelled to move to Punjab to pursue a higher degree. Reaching Punjab, Das meets Aditi ( Wamiqa Gabbi Wamiqa Gabbi is an Indian actress and a dancer. Sh >> Read More... ) a typical Punjabi girl who is a wrestling champion of the university and soon they fall for each other.

For Aditi, wrestling means the world but she is discouraged by her elder brother who is a police officer. Soon Aditi’s marriage is fixed which leads for a cause of tiff among Das and Aditi’s brother which takes a violent form forcing Das to leave Punjab temporarily, and he comes back to his village in Kerala. Shortly, after Das comebacks to his hometown, he gets to know that Aditi escaped from Punjab had has reached his village and she seeks protection from him.

Further series of events unfold when the entire town people get to learn about the presence of a Punjabi girl in their town. The twist and turns further bring in a comical tale to the plot making people hooked to their seats. What is yet to be known is that what does destiny have in store for Das and Aditi? Will Aditi be able to make her dreams fulfill or will this be the end of her journey? Will Das be able to overcome the hurdles posed by life? To find out, I would suggest to hurry up and watch Godha as soon as possible.

Star Performance 

Beginning from supporting roles to bagging the leading role in various Malayalam movies, Tovino has proved himself that he is capable of curving himself into any given spheres of the character. With time he has manifested his interest and abilities through different roles.

Not to miss Wamiqa Gabbi, the confidence that she had in her of coping up with the difficulty of the character is the appreciable part. Throughout the entire period of filming never does she exhibit out her fear of a newcomer and on the contrary, she managed to keep up her chemistry with Tovino.

What's There? 

1. Throughout the movie, we can see the beautiful locational sceneries of Chandigarh, Patiala, Ludhiana, Ottapalam, and Pazhani through the visual eyes of Vishnu Sarma.

2. The movie witnesses the existences of three languages Malayalam, Punjabi, and English simultaneously.

3. The role played by Aju Varghese adds to the comical treat of the movie along with the music composition of Shaan Rahman.

Renji Panicker’s character as the captain could be less intricate when it comes to the relationship between Captain and Das.

Godha comes out to be a blockbuster entertainer which would comply with ease to every onlooker.
