Plot:

This love-drama story revolves around friendship, love, and betrayal. Ashwin is seen playing the role of Sethu, who is a fashion designer and meets with Anand (Hemanth Menon) during his business project of an ad shoot. Sethu and Anand became good friends during the process. Sethu introduces his girlfriend Nanda to his friend Anand, and three of them gel along very well. The first half of the film is about their friendship and how things take a turn when Anand and Nanda are seen together in a hotel named ‘Charminar’ where Sethu is also residing. Sethu met with an accident, while he gets suspicious and tries to follow Nanda. She starts hiding things from him and lies about being in Dubai, but Sethu spots her in Bangalore. There must be many questions in your mind right now. Why did she betray Sethu? What were her motives behind doing all this? What role does Anand have to play in the proceedings? This movie is produced under the name of Seven J Films. This weekend has a full house packed with new Malayalam films, but regardless of this, the movie is fitting pretty well in the theatres.

He has two roles to play in this story, a fashion designer from Bangalore who falls in love with his neighbor. It is a Romantic thriller movie with a lot of mystery in it performed very well by the cast.

What’s there?

1. The editing and scripting of the film are good.

2. Locations chosen for filming are appreciable.

3. Direction and Production have both been significant.

What’s not there?

1. The screenplay could have been better.

2. The movie is dragged at some parts which made it look unnecessary and mundane.

Verdict:

Charminar is a family movie and has a lot of elements including comedy and emotional scenes which are relatable to almost everyone. The overall performance of the film is good and you should watch it in the theatres for a weekend getaway.
