Plot
Aarathi Varma is an MBBS student. She doesn’t believe in supernatural powers, good and bad. Aarathi’s friends, Titus, Gopi and Jithu challenge her to speak with the soul of her mother, who died while delivering Aarathi. Aarathi accepts the challenge and meets Soumini Devi, who is a specialist in communicating with the spirits. After speaking with her mother’s spirit, Aarathi goes to their family temple. Meanwhile, an evil spirit is said to have been locked in the house using some mantras, before two decades. Did the spirit come out of the locked portion? Watch the film to know the rest.

The ghost sequences are scary. Most of the Mollywood films don’t have horror-comedy. But, this film has a good comedy mixed with horror. The BGM by Bijibal is one of the strong points in the film.

Akashaganga 2 is a genuine sequel to the 1999 movie. Except for some minor errors, the film could be watched once. It will make the fans of the previous part, to go nostalgic.
