Making a film with stars who are just on the threshold of establishing themselves is something commendable. And Adi Kapyare Kootamani is one such film that has hit the screens recently. Now let’s see what it is all about.

Plot

Namita Pramod suddenly gets into a boys hostel. Her buddy Dhyan Srinivasan helps her in this “mission”. Well, what is the reason for Namita to enter into the college boy’s hostel? Just watch the movie to find out.

Star Performances

Dhyan Sreenivasan has carried off his role with ease. Neeraj Madhav, Aju Varghese, and Mukesh have done their roles with conviction while Namita Pramod captures our attention with her sweet looks.

Analysis

A film complete with youthful vigor Adi Kapyare Kootamani centers on the happenings in a men’s hostel. Well with a beautiful girl as Namita Pramod in the hostel you would be raking your mind for the reason behind it. There lies the success of the debutant director John Varghese.

As the film progresses, we get confused as to whether this is a horror or a thriller film. However, thankfully humor is also interspersed in this movie.

What’s there?

  • The chaos in the hostel is shown in an engrossing manner.
  • There are some really good comedy scenes in the movie. The jokes are so realistic that they will strike the right chord with the audience. Just laugh out loud!
  • The first half goes on a good pace.
  • The twist in the movie is one of its highlights.
  • The cinematography is very good.

What’s not there?

  • As the movie progresses instead of building the tension, the script plays spoilsport.
  • Songs are just average.
  • The plot is very thin that it becomes a tightrope walk for the director.

Verdict

Well, just leave your mind in your house and just sit and relax throughout the film.
