Balan sees her, and it’s love at first sight for him. Once Sheela leaves, Balan finds her back with a camera and few pictures. He then starts his operation to find Sheela with Ummer, keeping these pictures as his clues. How will they meet? Have they met earlier? Will their love story succeed? Answers to these questions are what the plot is all about.
Analysis: Director Jenuse Mohamed is lucky enough that he has got all the best ingredients to make a perfect debut as a director. A rom-com is a common genre selected by people to make a debut but even in that too you have to add some freshness to keep the interest of the audience. Mohamed's direction provides that new essence which distinguishes it from ordinary love stories.
Visuals in the film are stunning. Technical department has done great work to live up to the expectations of the director. The casting director has also done a good job to bring different characters on board and choosing Dulquer Salmaan, and Nithya Menen as leading pair as they look perfect together.
Star Performances: I don't remember the last time when Malayalam industry witnessed such a cute love story. And the credit goes to the lead pair, Dulquer Salman, and Nithya Menen. The chemistry between the couple is sizzling. Nithya looks so glamorous as Sheela but her counterpart. Dulquer is also handsome, but he needs to work on his dialog delivery as he fumbles.
Overall they have followed the director well. Also, Sekhar Menon has a comic role to play, and his comic timing is perfect. All the supporting actors also have done their role with perfection.
What's there?
1. Malayalam industry hasn't witnessed such a cute love story in the past.
2. The camerawork is brilliant, and you'll fall his love with the sceneries.
3. The chemistry between the leading pair is sizzling.
4. Music of the movie is extraordinary.
What's not there?
1. The second half of the flick is a little stretched.
2. Dulquer's dialog delivery acts as a speed breaker for the audience.
3. Once you pay few bucks for this film, you expect some really surprising twists and turns, but '100 days of love' may let you down.
Verdict: If your favorite genre is a love story and you want to enjoy some funny gags, then '100 days of love' is surely for you.
