Plot

Yuva is an engineering student. He indulges in an ongoing fight between local students and hostelites. After completing his course and returning home, he is burdened with the responsibilities of his family. But his deeds in college hurdle him from getting a job. Will he be able to shoulder his family’s responsibilities? The rest of the story deals with this aspect.

Star performance

Yuva Rajkumar’s acting in this movie is stunning. He is a multi-talented actor and he proves that in this movie. He dances, wrestles, fights, and expresses all emotions astonishingly. He is a mature actor. All the cast of this film does justice to their respective roles.

Analysis

The first half of the movie has well-choreographed fights that keep the audience engaged. The direction could have better showcased the full-fledged talent of Yuva Rajkumar. The cinematographer of this movie conveys the emotions and themes standardly. Background scores give emotions to the scenes. Sapthami and Hita do not have much screen space. The Editing is interesting to watch.

Santhosh Ananddram has tried to bring many emotions; family sentiments, father-son bond, problems of delivery boys, and has also included a sports angle. This film leaves many questions in the minds of the audience. There is a lack of clarity in some of the emotions and fighting scenes displayed. A little bit of exaggeration prevails in this movie. There is no connection between the first half and the second half, the viewers will be able to notice a sudden change in track. Unnecessary punch dialogues are included in this movie. Unintentional humor kills the emotional scenes.

As this movie revolves around anger and fighting, the upcoming generation will be inspired to experiment with them in real life. There is body shaming in this movie. Some of the scenes portray women as an object of desire for men. Movies being an entertainment source for all ages, this type of information will strike the young minds and follow the same nuances. A movie should be careful of these after-effects and hence should try and deliver a good social message.
