Plot
Gujari Babu, a small-time trader, induces the villagers to get involved in sand mining, stating that nature belongs to everyone and they can acquire it. Many started sand mining, unaware of being a part of the sand mafia. Mohana, a local building supervisor, manages these people and helps them get wages. Manji, an Anganwadi teacher, loves Mohana. Inspector Balraj finds out this, and Parashuram, an IPS officer, tries to make the villagers understand the dangers of their current work. Malini, an MLA candidate, added further tension to the situation. What happens next? Were the villagers able to understand what the officials explained?
Star Performance
Pruthvee delivers a solid performance. He handles his layered role with ease. Gopalkrishna Deshpande’s performance is the standout among all. Kavya Shaiva and Manasi Sudhir fit well in the given roles. Rajesh Nataranga and Avinash’s performances are impressive, though their screen presence is limited.
Analysis
The film has a good-intentioned message about protecting nature. The first half projected it well, but the second half diluted the first half’s intention. The story should’ve been designed better. The screenplay has too many threads, which is too weighty for it to handle. The dialogues are impressive and leave a strong impact. The BGM fits well with the screenplay and elevates the sequences. The action sequences are choreographed well.
