Plot

This film begins with a usual start with a view of the haunted chamber. After being slightly frightening, the scene brings you to the protagonist’s house, Abhi. Abhi has witnessed his broken family. His father divorced his mother and has been married twice since. Though he’s in college, he has to shuttle between their two homes because they have joint custody. Abhi leads a sad existence as he studies in a medical college and is almost invisible in the eyes of the Bhoomika, aka Baby boo, a social media addict. She is the woman he loves. He is disheartened and decides to surrender his life after going through unending sorrows. Losing all hope and the will to live, he encounters a ghost who seeks to help him out. From here begins a mad ride that ends up being a ridiculous comedy of errors, where Abhi wants to help the ghost and vice versa. But things get complicated when the spirit realizes that their lives and destinies intervene on a deeper level. Who is this ghost? What is its relation with Abhi? Will Abhi come back to his life?

Likith Shetty as Abhi has a very well-etched role and gives his sincere best. He has a light-hearted take on his family situations and emotions. It is also interesting to see the connection between the ghost and the hero's history. As for the female lead, she charms the show with her role as an Instagram Reels crazy social media queen. Overall, the cast has a mix of many seasoned veterans who ensure the jokes land well.

Analysis

Director Arjun Kumar delivered another funny film, which was released online. The film has got comedy with a touch of the supernatural. The quirks and edgy subject make this film watchable. The dialogues, the background tracks, and the unusual characters make this film eccentric. After the mid-part of the movie, the plot might seem stretched and unnecessary, though the climax makes up for it. Maintaining the theme of the movie have a relatable emotion and gives a decent ending. Family Pack is one of the films in which you would grab your stomach because of the non-stop laughter. And this is its biggest strength.
