Eradane Sala is the Kannada romantic comedy entertainer featuring “Dhananjay” and Sangeetha Bhat in the lead roles. Lakshmi Narayan, Kirik Keerthi, Padmaja Rao and “ Avinash” play the supporting roles in this film. Guru Prasad directed the film, which is produced by Yogesh Narayan. Anoop Seelin composes the music and Samrat Ashok Goutham cranks the camera.

The story doesn’t have a big plot. It is a self-defined film with template elements. Dhananjay is his mother’s pet. When his mother (played by Lakshmi) gets an oath from him not to fall in love with their guest, a girl, the drama of the youth starts. Who is she? What is her background? Did he marry her with his mother’s permission? Watch the film in theaters.

Star Performances

When speaking about the performance, it is Lakshmi, who grabs the attention of the 100% of the audiences. She has a pleasant look even at this age; something beyond her performance. However, Dhananjay and Sangeetha’s performance has no flaws. The standout performer in the film is Anoop Seelin, who stuns with both BGM and songs.

Guru Prasad has dealt with a usual script in an unusual way. Although there are few flaws in the film, everything had been covered up well by the narration of Guru and the performances of the lead stars. Dhananjay, Lakshmi and Sangeetha are the main players and nothing more than them. Even the characters that come in between are just to define the main roles.

What’s There?

  • Performances of the stars; especially Lakshmi’s expressions are just awesome
  • Chemistry between Sangeetha and Dhananjay is cute
  • BGM by Anoop is stunning; the songs are impressive too

What’s Not There?

  • Not a special script

Although there are few flaws in the script, it has been pasted well with the narration of Guru Prasad. Dhananjay’s performance is different than from his previous flick, “ Allama.” Eradane Sala is worth watching!
